About Me
Hi, I’m Rebecca! I am a Gambier girl through and through! Though I don’t reside on Gambier Island anymore, I grew up there and return weekly to tend to my garden and offer treatments. I know the trials and tribulations of the dust roads, the constantly overgrowing blackberries, and the rush to catch that one Stormaway carrying everything you can so you don’t have to wait in Langdale an extra couple of hours. I know the precious tranquility of tea in the garden with likeminded friends, late night walks down the starry pier, and trails with not another soul on them. These are the things that keep bringing me back to my island home!
In my time away from the island I trained in massage therapy in Vernon BC, and became a registered massage therapist. I have worked in spas with wellness and relaxation as my focus as well as alongside physiotherapists and chiropractors treating a multitude of injuries and pains. I have pursued further education in myofascial mobilization, Graston Technique, and deep tissue massage. With my experience and knowledge to date, I have ‘found my flow’ in creating therapeutic yet relaxing, deep and subtle massage treatments to facilitate healing and bring wellness to your body and mind.
About The Service
On Gambier I do not have an office of my own, but I do have a car, a portable table, and my hands! For my mobile massage service, I bring all equipment needed and you provide the space. I offer services between West Bay, Gambier Harbour, and New Brighton- anywhere my car can get me.
I provide my massage table, fresh linens, pillow, oils, a bluetooth speaker and music, and all cleaning supplies. I also keep medical face masks in my kit.
All I require from you is an open, comfortable, and private space in your home large enough for me to set up in (about 6×8′). Kitchens, offices, and livingrooms tend to be the best spaces.
Covid 19 protocols are in place, including extra sanitizing, hand hygiene, prescreening prior to appointments, and mask wearing.

60 Minute Massage…………..$110
90 Minute Massage…………..$155
In addition to your appointment time, there will be 10minutes of setup and 10minutes of take down time. Expect a visit for a 60 min treatments to take 80minute, and 90min treatments to take 110mins.
